COVID provide path for federal funding of HVAC upgrades

Our team took on the challenge of revolutionizing the mechanical infrastructure at Katherine Stinson Middle School, introducing new HVAC and air quality standards post COVID-19 pandemic. The Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) fund made the project possible without requiring the community to pass a bond. This was critical in making an immediate impact for schools in the district.

Executing this ambitious project required meticulous planning and execution. The project unfolded in carefully orchestrated phases over an 18-month timeline with the bulk of the work taking place in the summers of 2022 and 2023. This approach minimized disruptions to the learning environment, allowing education to continue without compromise. It also ensured that students, faculty, and staff had conditioned learning spaces in the hottest times of the school year.

Throughout the 20 months of construction, Marksmen GC approached each phase with a confident stride, driven by the belief that every detail matters. Our team’s expertise and dedication ensured that the project was completed to the highest standards, embodying our unwavering commitment to excellence. The Katherine Stinson Middle School Mechanical Upgrade is a testament to our bold, forward-thinking approach, demonstrating that when it comes to construction, we’ve got this.
