Overview

In terms of scope specifics, the project necessitates the meticulous demolition of existing structures, including the press box and four additional buildings. Notable among these is the existing locker room facility, along with three portables that have served diverse purposes, housing miscellaneous equipment, scoreboard electronics (re-routed by Daktronics), visiting team locker rooms, and an athletic director's office.

The demolition scope also extends to the home side bleachers, with Sturdisteel contracted to replace this section, introducing brand new seating arrangements. A significant aspect of the structural work involves the installation of (20) 40' piers at the press box, along with the incorporation of columns, intermediate beams, and the construction of a third-floor slab on the deck.

Additionally, the project includes a 3-stop electric traction elevator provided by TKE, turnkey track demolition, and resurfacing managed by Benton/Tarkett, and the installation of four new MUSCO stadium light poles. These integrated elements further contribute to the overall improvement and modernization of the facility, enhancing accessibility, sports infrastructure, and lighting capabilities for an enhanced user experience.
